RCS Systems Analyst

(This position is hybrid with some on site work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

Join the IU Health RevCycle BI team as a Systems Analyst, where you'll use analytical tools like SQL and Power BI to help business units and senior leadership identify areas of improvement in the revenue cycle process.

This position exists to provide evaluation, implementation, and support of Revenue Cycle information systems. The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing system support, administration, maintenance, upgrades, and be the onsite vendor liaison for Revenue Cycle associated applications. This position is responsible for ensuring that all Revenue Cycle applications are available and functioning properly and that customer requests are satisfied on time and with the highest quality. Duties will involve problem analysis, issue resolution, and on-call support. This position will work closely with Systems Analysts, end users, technical IS staff, and application vendors. Entry level assigned to relatively straightforward IS application work. Incumbent knows and can represent a basic understanding of information systems. Ability to analyze data at a base level and learn systems concepts is demonstrated. Work is typically routine in nature and instructions are fairly detailed. Incumbent performs tasks under close supervision but identifies basic discrepancies and effectively escalates questions, issues, and key decisions.

• Healthcare experience (Revenue Cycle preferred).

• Requires good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products. Requires the ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures.
