Detail-oriented registered nurse responsible for reviewing electronic medical records to extract, validate, and submit clinical data to national vascular and cardiology outcome registries. This role ensures accuracy and completeness of data while supporting quality improvement initiatives and performance metric monitoring within the cardiovascular program.

• Prior experience with VQI or other national cardiovascular registries.
• Previous experience in data abstraction, quality programs, or clinical outcomes reporting.
• Background in cardiovascular, vascular, or operating room nursing.

Role Purpose

The Senior Data Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Supervisor with the oversight of the abstraction processes and staff. This position maintains working knowledge of regulatory abstraction guidelines, internal policies, procedures and services (both departmental and operational.) This position also assists with monitoring productivity and quality standards of designated staff to meet regulatory timelines.
