Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to join our Brenham clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to a diverse patient population while working within an integrated healthcare system that prioritizes excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
About the Role
As a Family Medicine Physician with OB, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care across all ages, including prenatal, obstetric (including C-sections), and newborn services.
You will manage a variety of conditions, provide preventive services, and coordinate care with specialists as needed. We are looking for a physician who excels in teamwork, values high-quality outcomes, and is passionate about continuing education and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, managing chronic and acute conditions.
- Provide full-spectrum obstetrical care including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
- Manage newborn care in conjunction with the care team.
- Collaborate with specialists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Stay current with advancements in medical practice and integrate evidence-based care into daily practice.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with system protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-focused care model.

Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board-certified or actively pursuing board certification in Family Medicine (American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists)
- Experience or interest in providing obstetrics care required
