SUMMARY: You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, PillCam, Bravo, and HALO. Additionally, you'll provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort. With an in-house educator, youll have access to tailored education and in-services to enhance your career development.SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department director/supervisors/charge nurse, provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. EXPERIENCE: One year medical/surgical experience required; critical care, PACU, or GI endoscopy experience strongly preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Endoscopy, PACU, phlebotomy, and airway management preferred.
