The role you will contribute:
The Manager of Strategy Management is responsible for managing teams and tools that coordinate strategy engagement and effectiveness resources which monitor and align top strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for a wide variety of project management, template creation, and data analysis as well as research and strategic planning. This person will work across functions and manage the day to day operations of a small team of data analysts. The individual will also be an active member of the Corporate Communications & Strategy Management team.
The value you will bring to the team:
- Manages teams and tools to coordinate strategy engagement and effectiveness resources for monitoring and aligning top strategic initiatives.
- Allocates and assigns resources based on organizational needs, considering timeline conflicts, market load, and conflicting strategic goals.
- Provides a comprehensive suite of strategy management tools, templates, reports, briefs, dashboards, and other products for corporate and initiative leaders and team members.
- Develops and maintains regular updates on strategic initiative briefs, corporate services plans, marketplace business plans, and other written updates and reports to ensure information is current, aligned, and value-added.
- Maintains the Strategy Management Arc site to provide universal access to information and tools for effective organizational strategy management.
- Drives proactive methods to gain deeper and automated insights into strategic initiative implementation.
- Aligns work to increase organizational awareness of the enterprise strategy framework, including the strategic initiative lifecycle, corporate services planning, and marketplace business planning, focusing on alignment and prioritization.
- Consults with executive, departmental, and initiative leaders on integrating corporate services plans with market input and the strategic framework to ensure alignment, reduce friction, and add value to markets.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders regarding effective project management and alignment of priorities, influencing stakeholders to take action and incorporate recommendations.
- Provides solutions and recommendations utilizing reports and dashboards to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Utilizes expertise in process improvement, operations, project, and change management to offer mitigation tools and recommend innovative solutions as opportunities are identified.
- Supports the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the facilitation of Operations Council meetings and the execution of strategic initiatives and corporate services planning efforts.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's 4-year college degree in business management, communications, or other related field Required
- 5 Work Experience Required
- Strong organization skills
- Proven ability to collaboratively develop, articulate and execute effective strategy management plans and tactics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff
- Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SharePoint
- Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
- Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) Preferred
