Position Summary
The Neurodiagnostics Supervisor coordinates the activities of staff and operations for their designated modalities. Monitors the adherence to all Neurodiagnostic policies, procedures, and services. The Neurodiagnostic Supervisor effectively communicates with staff, patients, and family members as well as physicians and other internal customers and stakeholders. The Neurodiagnostics Supervisor is a role-model and ambassador for the department and must provide exceptional customer service and service recoveries. Responsible for attending various operation meetings, safety and quality meetings, as well as scheduling departmental meetings and communicating essential information to the staff and leads.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor`s degree in related field (Preferred)
Experience
- 3 or more years of experience as a lead or leadership role in the health care field (Required)
- 3 or more years experience in EEG (Required)
- 3 or more years experience in IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) (Preferred)
Certifications
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- Current EEG Registry with ABRET, the Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation Board (Required)
- Current ABRET registry CNIM (Certified Neurointraoperative Monitoring) within 6 months of hire (Preferred)
- Current ABRET registry in CLTM (Certification in Long Term Monitoring) (Preferred)
