Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Intensivists to join our collaborative PICU team on a per diem basis at Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Childrenâ™s Hospital, located on the campus of Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in beautiful Germantown, TNâ”a vibrant suburb of Memphis.
Position Highlights:
300â“400 annual PICU admissions
In-house daytime coverage with at-home night call
Procedural sedation provided in the PICU
Responsibilities include:
Admissions and management of critically ill pediatric patients
Family consultations and communication with referring physicians
Work alongside a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist team also managed by Pediatrix
Access to a wide range of pediatric subspecialty support including:
Neurology, Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, ENT, Pulmonology, and Pediatric Surgery

Qualifications
Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
TN Medical License or active IMLC preferred
Minimum 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience required
Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience required
Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
