Role Description:
The Veteran’s Administration Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our Western Colorado team in the community of Montrose, Colorado. In this on-site role, you will take the lead for the care and health assessment for our Western Colorado Veteran population. Position Highlights:

Compensation: Competitive salary, sign-on incentive potential, annual bonus range. Base salary range $200k - $250k plus up to $15k annual bonus. Position is also eligible for medical student loan payment reimbursement program if individual eligibility requirements are met.
About the Western Colorado Health Care System:
The VA outpatient clinic in Montrose is part of the Grand Junction VAMC serving those who serve our country by providing critical medical services including acute and chronic inpatient and outpatient care. The main facility in Grand is a level 3 facility with a total of 76 patient beds, including Medical/Surgical beds, ICU, Acute Psych, Residential Rehab for Substance Use Disorder, and a Community Living Center. Surgical cases focus primarily on orthopedics, podiatry, endo scopes, and basic general surgeries. We have an onsite lab, plus Primary Care, Outpatient Specialty Clinics, and 4 outlying clinics.
Basic Requirements:
- MD, or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine, board certified with a minimum 5 years of post-residency practice experience
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any US state
- Residency Training: Physicians must have completed approved US residency training
- Willingness to perform face-to-face, video, and telephone appointments
