Overview
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Development, the Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing a stewardship plan for major donors as well as loyal and planned giving donors. The coordinator is responsible for the grateful patient program entitled Celebrate Excellent Care, including physician engagement. The coordinator will also solicit leadership 1916 gifts and corporate sponsorships in the community.
Responsibilities
Develops and implements and manages all strategies of a stewardship plan for major donors, 1916 donors, grateful patients, loyal donors, corporate sponsors and planned giving donors. For donors who have supported Beebe with a $10K gift or more, create a customized stewardship plan and work with major gift officers to implement. Create a custom donor impact report for each major donor as well as general impact reports for all supporters of Beebe. Oversees and manages all donor recognition walls, the hall of honor and signage on all health campuses. Works collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to ensure all walls are completed in a timely fashion.
Coordinates the grateful patient program, Celebrate Excellent Care, to include stewardship of donors through shared stories, retention of donors and team recognition as well as clinician engagement. Identify and strengthen community relations with corporations, businesses and vendors to secure ongoing support of Beebe. Work with Events Coordinator to identify and solicit new sponsorships. Attend community and chamber events. Maintains a donor portfolio of 1916 prospects and actively solicits new donors. Will conduct weekly rounding on donor visits in the hospital. Maintains a high degree of motivation and superior work ethic consistent with the philosophy of the Foundation and contributing to the team effort. Each team member has a responsibility to support the fundraising mission of the Foundation thru attendance of events, solicitation of individual gifts and corporate sponsorships, and ongoing stewardship of donors. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Development and Foundation President.
Qualifications
Three years of fundraising experience. Excellent Computer Skills with experience with Microsoft Office and with fundraising database software, preferably Raiser's Edge. Exemplary work ethic, high energy and consistent follow through. Excellent written and communication skills. Highly organized and able to work independently. Able to relate well with donors and friends of Beebe. Excellent public speaking skills.

Beebe's Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Employed physicians through Beebe Medical Group and our affiliated physicians on Beebe's Medical Staff now serve patients from Milford to Millville in specialties including cardiac surgery, dermatology, endocrinology, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatric neurology, and surgical oncology.
