The Nurse Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a strategic business partner responsible for defining open positions, attracting, and hiring diverse, top talent that aligns with the organizational strategic goals and values. The Nurse TA Specialist works to deliver metrics necessary to achieve "best in class" talent acquisition. The Nurse TA Specialist establishes strong partnerships with Nursing Leadership and other areas of Human Resources to design/implement effective and creative recruitment plans such as hiring events, blitz interview events, and tracking success of events using metrics. Provides recruitment services in a positive, timely, service oriented, cost efficient and effective manner. Talent Acquisition provides recruitment services that are delivered by working closely with hiring management to understand their business, proactively address their staffing needs, and providing recruitment and workforce planning services to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping the nursing workforce at Beebe Healthcare by:
Strategic Recruitment – Collaborating with TA leadership and nursing hiring managers to develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality nursing candidates and a highly positive candidate experience.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining – Leveraging job boards, social media, networking, industry events, and a candidate relationship management (CRM) platform to identify, engage, and proactively build pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
Candidate Screening & Experience – Reviewing resumes, conducting screening interviews, assessing clinical backgrounds, and ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for every candidate from first contact through onboarding.
Interview Coordination – Organizing and scheduling interviews with hiring managers, ensuring seamless communication and candidate satisfaction.
Collaboration – Partnering closely with nursing leaders to understand staffing needs, create job descriptions, and design targeted recruitment campaigns.
Offer Management – Evaluating experience, determining salary in line with compensation guidelines, preparing and extending offers, negotiating packages, and facilitating the onboarding process.
Reporting & Process Improvement – Tracking key recruitment metrics, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to enhance nurse and nursing support recruitment efforts.
Employer Branding – Working with recruitment marketing and internal communications to strengthen Beebe’s employer brand and create compelling campaigns that highlight our culture and mission.
Compliance – Staying current with employment laws and regulations to ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Contract/Traveler Staffing – Coordinating temporary and traveler staffing solutions as requested, partnering with agencies as needed for interim or temp-to-perm roles.
Continuous Improvement – Using analytics to drive results, supporting special projects, and contributing to overall TA initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
2-3 years experience in HR/recruitment is preferred.
Must have at least 2 years of direct nursing experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in Nursing.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Able to communicate effectively, pleasantly, cooperatively, and discreetly. Able to work under pressure.
Willingness to increase knowledge.
Demonstration of creativity, initiative and problem solving

Beebe Healthcare serves the Sussex County community with a medical center located in beautiful, historic Lewes, Delaware, and convenient outpatient locations throughout the county. Founded in 1916 by two physician brothers, Drs. James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the medical center in Lewes is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit seaside community hospital. Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiac and vascular, surgical services, oncology, women's health, and orthopaedic services. Beebe offers an array of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic services.
Beebe's five satellite campuses offer imaging, physical rehabilitation, and lab services, as well as walk-in care centers. In addition, Beebe offers Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine and Diabetes Management & Medical Nutrition Therapy.
With a mission to serve the community, Beebe also offers many free screenings and outreach programs through its Population Health Department; and advanced medical care for those who are recuperating at home through Beebe Home Care Services.

Employed physicians through Beebe Medical Group and our affiliated physicians on Beebe's Medical Staff now serve patients from Milford to Millville in specialties including cardiac surgery, dermatology, endocrinology, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatric neurology, and surgical oncology.
