IU Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urology team at the Men's Health Center at IU North Hospital in Carmel, IN!
Join a dynamic, patient-centered Men’s Health Center that is redefining the standard of care in male sexual and reproductive health. Our practice fosters a collaborative, hands-on environment where advanced practice providers (APPs) play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments. You will work alongside nationally and internationally recognized experts in men’s health, engaging in direct patient care, innovative procedures, and multidisciplinary teamwork to optimize patient outcomes.
We prioritize professional growth, mentorship, and autonomy, allowing APPs to develop specialized expertise in male sexual health, hormone optimization, and minimally invasive interventions. Position Details:
- Full-time
- Flexible schedule. Offering both 4-5 day schedules
- No holiday, weekends, or call
- 100% outpatient
- Patient volume: 48/week
- Work directly with 1 physician and 1 APP
- Procedures include: Intracavernosal injections, testopel procedures, penile doppler ultrasounds, xiaflex injections, shock wave therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and management for patients with conditions such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, testosterone deficiency, male infertility, and other men’s health concerns
- Perform detailed history-taking, physical exams, and treatment planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Educate and counsel patients on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies
- Gain expertise in the latest advancements in sexual and reproductive medicine, regenerative therapies, and minimally invasive procedures
- Work closely with urologists, endocrinologists, physical therapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive men’s health care
- Participate in clinical research, conferences, and ongoing education to stay at the forefront of men’s health innovation
- Contribute to patient education initiatives, social media outreach, and community engagement to promote men’s health awareness.
Qualifications:
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, PNP or PA board eligible or certified
- The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
- Outpatient experience preferred
