Responsibilities & Duties

• Diagnose and treat dental conditions in pediatric patients, including cavities, tooth decay, and developmental irregularities.

• Develop individualized treatment plans to address oral health needs and promote long-term dental wellness.

• Perform preventive and restorative dental procedures, such as cleanings, fillings, and sealants.

• Collaborate with orthodontists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.

• Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

• Create a comforting and engaging environment to ease dental anxieties in children.

• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.

• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry techniques and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.

• Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.

• Valid state dental license and board certification in pediatric dentistry (recommended but not required).

• Experience working with children in a dental setting.
