Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Jr. X-ray Tech to join our growing team!
The hourly range for this position is $24-$28. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
SUMMARY: The Training Tech X-Ray assists the Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in performing radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician, including DEXA scans. They may administer medication for certain procedures as prescribed by a physician. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and universal precautions at all times.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- CPR (BLS) Certification, required
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within 6 months of hire)
- CT State Radiography license and ARRT certification required within 6 months of hire.
