Our client is a Government Contracting firm located in Maryland, preparing to potentially win a contract that requires Emergency Department RNs to work a long term government contract in Chinle, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
Provide the full range of emergency care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage process to rapidly assess and prioritize care needs.
Apply the nursing process to deliver individualized, goal-oriented care that addresses physical, mental, spiritual, and socio-cultural needs.
Administer medications (including IV infusions), perform phlebotomy, EKGs, respiratory treatments, point-of-care testing, and respond to emergency codes.
Recognize complications of disease processes, initiate appropriate therapeutic interventions, and provide immediate life-saving measures when necessary.
Coordinate inter-facility patient transport as required.
Adhere to CSU policies and procedures, Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA, CMS, IHS, and other federal licensing/accreditation standards.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation in accordance with IHS, JCAHO, and CMS standards.
Ensure secure handling of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
Working Conditions: Work in a high-acuity emergency environment with exposure to infectious diseases and potentially combative patients. May require occasional evening or weekend availability depending on site schedules.

ASN/BSN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved by a state accrediting agency.
Minimum of 36 months nursing experience, with at least 24 months in emergency nursing.
Current, valid, unrestricted RN license in a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) certification (American Heart Association preferred).
Proficient in computer use for clinical documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, respecting Navajo, American Indian, and Alaska Native cultural practices.
Meet all health requirements, including immunizations (Hepatitis A/B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Meningococcal, TB testing, and annual influenza vaccination).
Pass Level I and Level II background checks and any security clearance requirements.
