Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans.
Duties
Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, as prescribed.
Perform diagnostic evaluations, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management and disease prevention.
Manage acute and chronic conditions, including pain management and behavioral health issues.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed.
Stay current with advancements in medical practices, technologies, and regulations.
Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
· Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona
· National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a rheumatology setting strongly preferred
· DEA license and prescriptive authority in Arizona
· CPR/BLS certification required
· EMR proficiency (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
