Position Overview
Delaney Hearing Center is seeking a 4th Year Audiology Extern to join their growing team in Charlottesville, VA. The Audiology Extern will primarily work with adult patients, conducting hearing evaluations, diagnostics, and hearing aid services, including fittings and adjustments, in a no-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests for adult patients.
Provide hearing aid services, including consultations, fittings, programming, and adjustments.
Educate patients on hearing health, hearing aids, and treatment options.
Collaborate with the team to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient records.
Contribute ideas and insights to enhance practice operations and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
Enrollment in accredited Audiology doctoral program
Completion of all university 4th-year academic and clinical prerequisites
Eligible to apply for Hearing Instrument Specialist licensure in Virginia.
Clinical competency in basic audiologic assessment and intervention
Clinical experience with adult and pediatric populations
Clinical initiative and strong desire to further education and knowledge in the field of audiology
