Clinical Trials Nurse - Radiation Oncology (MSK Westchester)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Trials Nurse in Radiation Oncology Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact at our state-of-the-art Outpatient Center in Westchester, NY.

Role Overview:

• Work within Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model

• Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.

• Coordinate patient care activities and conduct studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials.

• Educate patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial.

• Provide as an integral member of the clinical research team to research study participants' direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and patient/ family support.

• Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective and participate in a multidisciplinary discussion for approval.

• Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.

Key Qualifications:

• New York State RN license and BSN

• Two to three years clinical Nursing experience

• Radiation Oncology experience required

• Clinical research nursing experience preferred

• Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

• BCLS

Pay Range $132,600- $158,400.00

• Hours: 4x10 hour shifts flexed between the hours of 8 am - 7 pm.
