Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Application Analyst I - Epic Security

Join our team as an Application Analyst I focused on Epic Security, where you'll help safeguard critical clinical and operational systems while ensuring the right access for the right users. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your Epic Security expertise, collaborate across teams, and directly support secure, efficient patient care operations.

Role Overview

• Analyze complex business problems to develop effective technical, workflow, or integration solutions.

• Configure Epic Security system settings and options to meet evolving business needs.

• Design and document detailed technological solutions and functional specifications.

• Identify and address system gaps with a focus on efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementation and maintenance of Epic modules.

• Conduct and validate unit testing to ensure system changes meet business requirements.

• Provide technical consultation to end users and key stakeholders.

• Maintain vendor relationships as needed to support software configuration or upgrades.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and offering input during technical discussions.

Key Qualifications

• Active Epic certifications in Epic Security required

• Active Epic Provider (SER) Administration Badge required

• Experience with Epic Builds and Provisioning

• Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.

• Ability to contribute independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams.

Core Skills

• Strong understanding of Epic workflows

• Proficiency in system configuration and functional testing.

• Clear, professional communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional Information:

• Location: Hybrid, 3 x a month on site in New York, NY

• Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday with Friday
