Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician Opportunity – Elliot Health System and Dartmouth Health Children’s, Manchester, New Hampshire
Elliot Developmental and Behavioral Health (EDBH) Pediatrics is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricianto join our outpatient (M-F daytime) practice, currently comprised of two experienced DB pediatricians, in collaboration with Dartmouth Health Children’s and its experienced DB pediatrician. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of collaborative and supportive teams dedicated to serving children and families across New Hampshire and advancing the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics academically.
The EDBH team and Child Development Program at Dartmouth Health Children’s collaborate with each other and the State of New Hampshire to optimally provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education for patients and their families, focusing on children under the age of 15. We care for a broad spectrum of developmental and behavioral conditions, including:
Learning disorders
Attention and behavioral disorders
Regulatory disorders
Neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders
Global developmental delays
Behavioral and developmental challenges associated with chronic or disabling pediatric conditions
Teaching medical students and DH Children’s pediatrics residents, along with Leadership Education in Neurodevelopment (LEND) trainees, is expected, so appointment to the faculty at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be offered, at a rank commensurate with experience and academic portfolio, to the successful candidate.
Dartmouth Health Children’s provides an extended system of care with primary, specialty, and advanced tertiary pediatric services, including an inpatient pediatric unit with PICU, level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and level IV NICU at its flagship Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) in Lebanon, NH. DH Children’s also operates 10 pediatric primary care medical homes across the region and a comprehensive ambulatory specialty center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester, where it partners with The Elliot, which hosts a level III NICU, 24/7 pediatric emergency department, and inpatient pediatric unit.
EDBH Pediatrics is located within the Elliot Pediatric Specialties suite, which also houses Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Neonatology Follow-Up Clinics—providing a multidisciplinary environment for coordinated pediatric care.
