Join the Community Outreach and Engagement team as a Community Outreach Consultant and play a vital role in advancing health and wellness initiatives for individuals in Marion County. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to develop and implement community programs, foster partnerships, and promote health and wellness in alignment with IU Health's mission to improve the health of all Hoosiers.

About the Role
The Community Outreach Consultant plays a key role in advancing the health and wellness of Marion County residents. They serve as an IU Health liaison with the community, partner organizations, and stakeholders, to support existing programs and develop innovative strategies to impact the health of the local community.

Responsibilities include designing and executing community outreach initiatives to meet identified needs, building and maintaining partnerships, managing Community Benefit grants, and ensuring the outreach programs are impactful. The Consultant will collaborate with internal teams and community-based organizations to coordinate health screenings, education and other outreach for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
