The role you'll contribute:

The Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist II (CILS II) RN performs a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of Diagnostic Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The CILS II is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration. Adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Completes timely assessments per Practice Guidelines, including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.
• Makes appropriate decisions and interventions based on nursing diagnosis according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
• Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for the patient, assisting in the development and implementation of an individualized plan of care.
• Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluates, and modifies the plan of care as needed.
• Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

• Associate's of Nursing Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) Preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR) Preferred
• Interventional Radiology Lab experience
• Peripheral Lab experience
• Electrophysiology Lab experience
