The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications. This position performs all necessary tasks to support the effective daily operations of department services, and handles a high volume of work with minimal direct supervision.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Prepares and distributes medications in a timely manner.
• Collects patient information and explains any insurance changes or complications.
• Ensures pharmacists are aware of patient needs and prescription checks.
• Assures orders are processed, dispensed and delivered accurately and promptly.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

• High School Grad or Equiv
• Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPHT)

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 Work Experience (Specialty pharmacy experience preferred)
