The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for both direct patient care and administrative functions for our family, internal and/or pediatric medicine patients. Physician Lead will provide the overall direction for clinical activities and initiatives within their clinic.
About the Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across various age groups. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient safety and care, particularly in family medicine, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Additionally, you will be involved in pain management and trauma care, providing support and education to patients and their families. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute significantly to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall health of the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Unrestricted, Current Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant certification and state licensure.
- Experience in family medicine, geriatrics, or pediatrics.
- BLS and/or PALS certification
- Current DEA and if needed Prescriptive Authority
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in a relevant specialty area.
- Bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Your expertise in family medicine, geriatrics, and pediatrics will allow you to cater to a wide range of patient needs, enhancing the quality of care provided. Additionally, your nursing background will support your ability to educate patients and their families, fostering a collaborative approach to health management. Preferred skills, such as bilingual communication, will further enhance your ability to connect with and serve a diverse patient population.
