Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital has a PRN Occupational Therapist position available in an acute care setting!  

• 5 weekend shift and 1 weekday shift per quarter; 1 holiday per year (assigned) 
• 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.

The inpatient occupational therapy department of BJWCH provides rehabilitation services to patients within an acute care environment. Our staff of experienced, efficient occupational therapists and assistants communicate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers and work closely with patients to develop safe, personalized rehabilitation programs that aid the patient in performing the daily activities that bring purpose, meaning, and function into a person's life.

Role Purpose

The licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
