SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a member of the Employee Health team, the coordinator will support clinical functions of employee health as needed within scope of practice. In additions, the incumbent will be responsible for the daily operations and routing communications between the employee population to assure appropriate and timely coordination of medical service, access, physician and service referral, and direction of services offered at the organization and community. They will provide high quality scheduling experience for the designated employee population. This is a full-time, day-shift position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Three (3) years of Health Care experience working within an ambulatory practice or population required.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program and Registered or Certified Medical Assistant, or currently licensed to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Two (2) years of experience in an outpatient practice or clinical specialty area preferred.
Prior call center, healthcare IT or healthcare operational excellence experience and strong customer service background preferred.
