Overview

The Supervisor, Registration is responsible for complete and accurate data collection associated with the registration of all inpatients, outpatients and Emergency Department patients. Ensures that the data collected by the employees in the designated work area allows for patient treatment to proceed without undue delay, conforms to WakeMed, state, and federal regulations, and results in accurate patient demographic and financial data capture. Assists the manager in the supervision, coordination and management of patient registration and personnel. Assists with the education programs, orientation and evaluation of new employees and existing employees, and serves as a management resource. This position may function as a registrar as needed.
