- Full-time with benefits Team member agrees to float to all hospitals in the market (THH, THM). Must preschedule 36 hours per week with flexible availability as there is no self-scheduling in this role.

- Must schedule 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
- Required to schedule one major and one minor holiday per year.

The role you'll contribute:
The Staff RN coordinates the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization of and monitors health care resources; and provides input and information to the interdisciplinary team via the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Staff RN will adhere to and follow the goals, philosophy, policies, standards and guidelines of Texas Health Huguley.

Educates patients and families about health conditions and care strategies.
Administers treatments, medications, and interventions according to care plans.

Develops individualized care plans based on assessment findings.

Provides trach care, including cleaning and maintenance, to ensure airway patency.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide support.
Operates cardiac monitoring equipment to assess and track heart function.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of Texas, or in a qualifying compact state Required
- Associate in nursing Required
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
BSN Preferred***
