SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of pharmacy care to an assigned area within HMC by insuring staff coverage for assigned area(s), assisting with the selection of new employees, orienting/training new staff, assuring competency of staff and assessing, prioritizing and assigning daily workflow and staff clinical assignments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy required
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Pennsylvania required
• ASHP accredited PGY 1 Pharmacy residency or 3 years clinical experience required
• Minimum three years of experience in a clinical pharmacy practice required

• Effective communication skills and critical thinking skills required
• Ability to teach, coach and mentor required
• Ability to organize and plan required
• Ability to relate to and collaborate professionally with patients and staff required.
