Exciting Opportunity at MSK: The Pharmacy department is seeking a Floater Pharmacist to cover many areas of the main campus including R5 IV Cleanrooms (non chemo); OR areas, Main pharmacy, inpatient satellites and outpatient pharmacy.

This individual will be involved with all aspects of inpatient order verification, mixing, checking, distribution and workflow for all patient orders. The role includes Omnicell support as well as other duties as needed.

Role Overview:

• Documentation and maintenance of records associated with sterile compounding and drug distribution.
• Clinical review and order entry.
• Oversight of technical staff.
• Assist with training new pharmacy staff; training and education of staff on new technologies, drug info, Omnicell usage, etc.
• Be involved in implementing new pharmacy technology and projects.

Key Qualifications:

• PharmD (or equivalent) required and valid NY Pharmacy license.
• NY State Pharmacist license required.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience including preparation of sterile products preferred.
• Omnicell and Retail experience beneficial.

• Able to make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information

Additional Information:

• Location: Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
• Schedule: Day hours variable - some rotation to evenings, based on coverage needs
• Reporting to the Assistant Director, Pharmacy

Pay Range: $57.24 - $91.59/hr.
