What will you be doing in this role:
The Associate Director, Marketing is a key member of the team responsible for setting the overall marketing strategy for Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University. Develops, designs, and implements marketing strategies and tactics to drive overall growth for Cedars-Sinai?s research and education portfolio. Collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to enable consistent application of the Cedars-Sinai brand and ensures seamless utilization of content across channels. Establishes research and education marketing metrics and goals that align with organizational goals in the planning process.
Leads all aspects of marketing efforts of Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University. Develops and implements strategies and tactics that are integrated and measurable. Collaborates cross-functionally in the development and execution of all marketing tactics and initiatives.
Drives awareness and acquisition for education and research programs including graduate medical education, graduate research education, allied health, and clinical trials, among others.
Serves as primary marketing liaison to key clients and leaders, both internal and external, to provide guidance and alignment of specific business unit goals.
Creates and drives project work plans to lead multiple projects and independently manage timelines.
Plans, leads, and directs work of staff to ensure goals and objectives are completed within established budget and timelines.
Supervises the day-to-day work of employees to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
Responsible for hiring, onboarding, managing schedules, personnel actions, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
Hybrid Remote = must currently live in Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to LA area for weekly onsite requirements
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
Eight (8) plus years of marketing experience in a large, sophisticated organization, preferably in an academic medical setting.
Two (2) plus years of managerial experience supervising direct reports within a department and/or service line.
Preferred experience in research and education marketing, preferably at an academic medical center. (Community, Advocacy and Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity: experience in marketing Community and Social Impact)
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
Master?s degree preferred.
