About CytoPath: CytoPath is a physician-led medical practice offering surgical pathology and cytopathology services to eight hospitals and five referring physician group clients across Central and Southern Alabama. Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an AP/CP Pathologist to join our esteemed laboratory practice.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert diagnostic services in general surgical pathology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in diagnostic reporting.
- Requirements:
- Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with subspecialty training in surgical pathology.
- Experience in gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology is a plus, as well as any fellowships in surgical pathology or cytology.
- A fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology is preferred.
- Medical degree and eligibility for a medical license in the State of Alabama.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic focused on teamwork.
