Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (0.75 FTE) Optometrist to join our Burien Medical Center eye care team in Burien, Washington. This position will serve as a resource for clinical care in Federal Way, and Capitol Hill as needed by Service Line Operations.
Our practice locations include ophthalmological and contact lens services. Our medical centers are fully equipped with the latest technologies and our teams includes skilled, well-trained, certified ophthalmic techs that provide support to our doctors. We have a full service Optical dispensary at our Burien location and use Epic at all practice locations.
Burien Medical Center is comprised of Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Eye Care, Occupational Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Social Work Services. Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology on site. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for the clinician position is $154,886 to $182,219 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $154,886 to $173,108 based on factors such as education, training or experience.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.

The central location means that jobs and entertainment are convenient, the parking problems are elsewhere and a slower pace prevails in residential neighborhoods.
