This position is a PRN role at Methodist Hospital-Rehab/Robotic Center.

IU Health is seeking a PRN Speech and Language Pathologist to serve as an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist to serve adolescents and adults. This individual will evaluate communication needs, select appropriate devices, and train individuals and their communication partners on using the system.

* Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in speech pathology or if foreign trained, graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires current license in the State of Indiana. Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
