Indiana University Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced APP to lead our Radiology APP team across multiple flagship hospitals in downtown Indianapolis. This team lead will collaborate closely with the Interventional Radiology team to provide inpatient and outpatient minor procedures and ensure high-quality clinical operations. The role serves as the front-line clinical leader, fostering excellence in care delivery, patient satisfaction, and team performance.
The Radiology Team Lead supports clinic operations within Radiology, working closely with the APP Manager, Interventional Radiologist and Neuro Interventional Radiologist, APP Providers and residents. This role serves as the first-line clinical operational leader, providing oversight, team support, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure efficient , safe and patient-centered care.
Job Details
Lead daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
Act as a clinical resource and mentor for approximately 15 advance practice providers, supporting their education and clinical development.
Collaborate with the APP Manager to identify and address barriers impacting clinical workflows.
Deliver, document, and communicate employee feedback and counseling in partnership with the Clinical Manager to promote staff growth and performance.
Contribute to developing, monitoring, and adjusting quality improvement plans to meet clinical and operational goals.
Coordinate with providers and team members to ensure compliance and regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies.
Foster a positive learning environment for Radiology practice providers
Monday thru Friday schedule
One 8 hour admin day per pay period
Job Requirements
Maintains license and board certification within the state of Indiana.
Maintains prescriptive authority if required in a practice setting
Requires a masters prepared advanced practice degree such as Nurse Practioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or equivalent.
Leadership in clinical and operational settings
Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
