What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients warmly, guide them through their visits, and make sure they feel comfortable
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments — including taking and labeling x-rays
- Keep the clinic running smoothly by monitoring supplies, requesting repairs, and maintaining safety and infection-control standards
- Schedule appointments, register patients, verify insurance, process payments, and manage referrals
- Keep patient records accurate and up to date while ensuring dental, medical, and office supplies are always stocked
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program licensed by the NYS Department of Education
- At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and current BCLS certification
- Experience with patient registration, scheduling, and general clinic operations
- Familiarity with dental and office software such as Dentrix, Eagle HIS, Dexis, E-Cashiering, Maps Communication, and Eagle registration
- Strong computer and data-entry skills, plus a great eye for detail
