IU Health Arnett Physicians has a full-time employment opportunity for a Gynecologist to join their respected, collegial OBGYN Department with IU Health Physicians located in Lafayette, Indiana.
Opportunity Details:
Full time opportunity
Day shift, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM
No Calls
100% outpatient, some inpatient work depending on surgeries.
Patient volume 60-70/week at office and 4-5 at hospital (dependent on surgery volume)
Join a team of 9 Physicians and 7 APPs with 30 support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing Care for Patient with general gynecology needs including full spectrum surgery.
Referral to Urogynecologist and oncology gynecologist when necessary
Will be required to perform full spectrum gynecology procedures except gynecology oncology
DaVinci robotics skills preferred.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
Eligibility for or possession of Indiana Medical License
Gynecology Residency required.
OR Highlights:
Robot capable facility with robots at both Ambulatory surgery center and the main hospital.
AI OR Scheduling program- live
MD anesthesia available or medical direction
OR Metrics teams actively working on FCOTS (first Case on -time starts), accurate case scheduling, turnover times.
The Chief of Surgery and Peri Operative OR Director will be onsite in the OR
Engaged OR nurses.
