Schedule: 40hours Monday - Friday with Call Required (aprox. 10 days per month)
Shift : Days - 20 hours week flexible

The role you'll contribute:
Supports quality assurance and performance improvement projects (e.g., QAPI, PIPs, etc.). Facilitates and
coordinates system-wide clinical quality review areas. Reviews patient safety protocols, clinical instruments, and
processes. Plans, develops, and administers risk management programs. Defines and implements initiatives that
impact team members and patients. Identifies opportunities and creates workflow solutions with customers by
applying robust performance improvement approaches of Lean, Six Sigma and statistical analyses.

Requires expanded medical/clinical skills of a specific job family group and/or job family that is typically
obtained through advanced education combined with experience

Activities are somewhat varied and within a moderate scope; requires little assistance to resolve issues and
discretion is exercised within defined practices and procedures

JOB SUMMARY
The Sepsis Coordinator is a health care professional who works in collaboration with the medical and hospital
staff to provide multidisciplinary care to the septic patient. The Sepsis Coordinator provides clinical, professional
expertise for patients, families, staff members and to healthcare providers. The scope of practice includes
ensuring organized care is provided to the patient with sepsis with a focus on health promotion and disease
prevention. The Coordinator also functions as an educator and coordinates in critical care/sepsis patient care
management and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's of Nursing - Required
- Master's of Nursing -Preferred

- 5 Work Experience - Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required
