ChristianaCare and The Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in the Department of OB/GYN is searching for a Board Certified/Board Eligible, AAGL fellowship trained MIGS surgeon to join our established and growing faculty practice in Newark and Wilmington, Delaware.

As a member of our MIGS surgical practice, you will be part of a fully supported team comprised currently of three fellowship-trained MIGS surgeons, a MIGS fellow, a physician-assistant, and experienced nursing and office staff.

The successful candidate should excel at minimally invasive GYN procedures including laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and hysteroscopy, including office-based procedures. As part of the faculty, you will have educational opportunities including training of fellows, residents, and medical students. Research opportunities include intramural work as well as participation in industry-sponsored investigation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide gynecological-only medical and surgical services, with MIGS Division gynecologic on-call responsibilities (at home coverage). *No obstetrical duty requirements*
• Precept fellows, residents, students, and specified health care professionals, as appropriate, and contribute to the educational program for MIGS fellows and trainees in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Participate in MIGS-focused research endeavors.

• Established MIGS block time at the Newark Campus with 26 Main Operating Rooms and 10 Operating Rooms at the Christiana Surgicenter as well as 14 Operating Rooms at the Wilmington Campus
• State of the art, dedicated GYN emergency service area.
• 1,000 hysterectomies annually
• Academic appointment with Sidney Kimmel Medical College

Position Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.
• ABOG board certification
• Successful completion of an accredited AAGL Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Eligibility to receive unrestricted licenses in DE and PA.
• Experienced providers with robotic and laparoscopic experience
• Preference will be given to physicians who have demonstrated proficiency and scholarly achievement in Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgery. Support to enhance such expertise will be prioritized.

Annual Compensation Range $315,594.00 - $470,339.00

The compensation range listed may encompass various forms of applicable compensation for this position, including, but not limited to, productivity incentives, value-based incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent upon operational factors such as hours worked, call coverage and other factors. ChristianaCare will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the above range or, less frequently, may offer a level of compensation outside the listed range as warranted by the circumstances.
