Responsibilities
Individual will report to the Director of Finance and will supervise the daily functions of the finance department staff. The individual will assist in the preparation of the Companyâ™s annual budget process. The individual will take part in the development and production of all monthly operational reporting. This position will be a key liaison with the region, corporate departments, the accounting staff and senior management.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of the Companyâ™s annual budget process
Help lead the continued improvement and automation of the budget process
Own the existing Cognos EP financial planning tool and provide extensive knowledge of key reporting systems
Develop and produce all monthly financial reports
Build key supporting reports for the regions and corporate departments
Assist in the production and development of senior management reporting package
Work closely with accounting to identify and solve issues during the monthly closing process
Assist in the development of the monthly and quarterly forecasts
Liaison with many areas of the Company to provide timely support and proactive feedback on all issues
Provide solid leadership and development for the finance staff
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
8-10 years experience of financial analysis and budgeting â“ accounting related experience is a plus
2-4 years of solid supervisory experience
Healthcare experience is preferred
Bachelorâ™s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Hardware/Software:
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Experience with a budgeting system is needed â“ Cognos software experience is preferred
Experience with an accounting system is preferred â“ Lawson software experience is a plus
Brio and Crystal Reports
**Ideal candidate will reside in MST or PST**
