Exciting Opportunity for Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in the Charlotte Area!
Weâ™re thrilled to offer an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well-established Level III NICU team at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, located in the vibrant Charlotte suburb of Gastonia, NC.
Our 16-bed NICU, nationally recognized by the Wall Street Journal as a Luxury Birthplace, features a cutting-edge architectural design that supports single-room NICU and mother-baby careâ”a truly innovative and family-centered approach.

Expansion in 2024: CaroMont Health is growing! A second hospital is opening in nearby Belmont, NC, featuring a labor and delivery service and Level I newborn nursery.
Collaborative Team: Work alongside 2 neonatologists and 5â“6 NNPs, serving families across Gaston and surrounding counties.
Robust Volume: Our NICU sees approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually, with an average daily census of 10.
Diverse Clinical Experience: NNPs provide care in our Level III NICU and assist with coverage in the newborn nursery.
Supportive Scheduling: NNPs offer 20 hours/day of shift coverage, collaborating with neonatologists who provide in-house daytime coverage and home call at night.
