Key Responsibilities:
Take calls from units and new admissions from emergency department or as direct admit
Average admissions is eight per shift
Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
Services include hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage
Opportunity Details:
Full-Time, Nights 7 pm- 7am; 7 on/14 off schedule
100% inpatient, two nocturnists per shift
IU Health Ball Memorial onsite, and admits to Jay Hospital via telemed.
Open ICU: hospitalist manage pressors, but not intubations; Procedures not mandatory, but opportunity to provide if desired; IM residents run codes, rapids
Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
Visa sponsorship available; H-1B
