A private practice in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join their team. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with diagnosing and treating patients with vascular conditions. Responsibilities include conducting non-invasive vascular tests such as ultrasounds and Doppler exams. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures, ensure their comfort, and maintain accurate records of test results. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of vascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology. Experience in using vascular testing equipment and interpreting results accurately is essential.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) is required. Prior experience working in a vascular lab or private practice setting is preferred. Knowledge of vascular diagnostic procedures, patient care techniques, and quality assurance standards is necessary to excel in this role.
