Audiology Benefit This benefit is available exclusively to the member and is provided only at the DC 37 Audiology Center.

We are seeking a full-time Audiologist to administer audiological and hearing aid benefits to union members in our newly renovated downtown Manhattan Audiology center

Job Requirements:

· New York State Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser license

· Doctorate in Audiology

· Experience working with a diverse adult population and hearing aids

· Ability to work independently

Duties:

· Create rapport with patient and complete case history interview

· Complete comprehensive audiological evaluation including speech in noise testing

· Discuss patient needs, available options and make recommendations for hearing aids and assistive devices

· Fitting of hearing aids using real ear verification measurements

· Counseling of patients regarding use and care of hearing aids

· Follow up with hearing aids, repairs and troubleshooting in person and via telehealth

· Document all patient contact in EMR system

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35-hour work week)

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 annual salary varies depending on job experience
