The Associate Corporate Gift Officer discovers, cultivates and solicits corporate prospects at $10,000 and higher for financial support of the hospital. This position will also act as a development Liaison between the foundation and corporate partners
Responsibilities:
Identifies and evaluates funding sources, with special emphasis on corporations who have gift potential of $10,000 or higher
Establishes targets/goals and actively moves prospects along the developmental process
Work with the corporate contacts to create the fundraising/campaign program and assist in organizing and implementing
Solicits corporate gifts through campaigns, fundraisers and gift projects and develops relationships with those corporations to identify executive level individual prospects for personal gifts
Serves as the liaison between the Foundation and various donor/prospect Boards and Advisory Committees
Coordinate, organize, identify and steward individuals who serve on committees based on their corporate relationship
Develops a strategic plan to engage, enlist and solicit members of these various committees
Take responsibility for all correspondence, collateral, communications and other record keeping associated with these committees
Identifies and evaluates individual participants on committees with a focus on current and future donor status
Responsible for the management of the Engage Committee
Serves as a member of the development team by participating in strategic planning, and hospital/development functions
Coordinates best practices and procedures with the Operations team regarding special events, fundraisers and campaigns

Technical Expertise
Experience in fundraising and relationship management
Requires outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written skills
Travel and valid Ohio driver's license is required.
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.] or similar software is required.
Experience with web and data analysis is preferred.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Certification: None.
