SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Assist physicians and clinical care team with the coordination of patient care encounters and schedule navigation. This supportive role assists in acquisition of outside medical records and images, tracking of required updates, organizing information and database assistance. Retrieving and recording labs, triage of patient and provider phone calls and general assistance to nurse coordinators.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Associate's degree or High School Diploma with two (2) years of experience in a medical office setting required. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred. 
• Knowledge of Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery terminology preferred.
