ATTENTION STUDENTS!! Are you looking for employment that will work around your schedule? Then this might be the right fit for you! Work up to 9 months as a temp with the possibility of moving to a permanent PRN position after a successful 9 months. This is a PRN rotating hours position with flexibility as needed for your class schedules.

This role prepares, assembles trays, serves, transports food and supplies, cleans and works in dish room to provide a high level of happiness for a diverse customer base. You will have the opportunity to improve the lives and experiences of patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public! The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. We do have cross training opportunities. This position consists of standing, physical work, must work with patients, take food tray to ambassadors/patients, deliver food, clean, stock, with a requirement of every other weekend and every other holiday.

***MUST BE A STUDENT***

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• No experience required.
• Requires knowledge of basic food safety; infection control and sanitation. Serve Safe training may be required, depending on location. ISDOH certification of Food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some locations.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred.
• Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
