Role Purpose
The Patient Access Lead - Pre-Arrival could have a variety of responsibilities including supporting all aspects of the pre-arrival process for all BJC sites. This team member may be the first point of contact for potential patients and therefore must represent BJC with the highest standard of customer service, compassion and perform all duties in a manner consistent with our mission, vision, values and BJC service standards. The Patient Access Lead ensures the most accurate patient financial clearance process is completed and populated in the patient record. This team member coordinates and implements projects and special assignments that support Patient Access processes and initiatives enterprise wide. Responsible for the development of innovative processes within PA to support staff working smarter not harder, continuously training, coaching and mentoring other team members. The Patient Access Lead must possess exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
