Join Our Diagnostic Imaging Service:
Our team includes radiologists (full-time, fee basis, and contract), diagnostic radiologic technologists, Cardiac technologist, Radiology Nursing staff, and administrative/clerical support personnel. The service is directed by the Chief of the Service, an experienced radiologist and physician member of our staff.
Major Responsibilities Include:
- Clinical Practice: Engage in general diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopy.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to performance improvement and oversee technical quality.
- Staff Education: Mentor and educate staff and trainees.
- Patient Care: Interact with patients, obtain clinical history, provide education, and participate in patient care coordination.
- Image Interpretation & Consultation: Provide timely and accurate image interpretation and consult with providers.
Oversight of Quality and Safety:
- Review exam requests and prescribe/adjust exam protocols.
- Oversee technical image quality and provide feedback to technologists.
- Administer medication, including contrast agents, and ensure radiation and MRI safety.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, such as peer review and performance improvement.
