Indiana University Health General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Division is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Geriatrician to attend to patients in the nursing home setting and perform outpatient geriatric consultation at IU Health Fishers Hospital. Our Geriatrics team understands the intricacies associated with the care of older adults whose medical problems are often complex and interrelated. Our division has programs that capture patients in the whole continuum of Geriatric care including inpatient, outpatient, primary care and home visit consultative practices
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-430pm
- Minimal call requirements
- Affiliate Faculty teaching position with Indiana University School of Medicine
- Well established clinical team of collaborative providers and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Geriatrics Board Eligible or Certified
- Interested in current fellows and practicing physicians
- H1b visa sponsorship available

Announced in 2022, the IU Health Fishers Hospital will undergo a $300 million investment to grow the campus square footage by 50%. Fifty inpatient beds will be added (including a labor and delivery unit), as well as an expansion of primary and specialty care services.
