Pediatric Dentist Job Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric dental exams and diagnose oral health conditions

• Develop individualized treatment plans for children and teens

• Administer anesthesia and provide treatments including:

  • Fillings

• Deliver preventive services:

  • Cleanings

  • Fluoride applications

• Maintain accurate dental records in OpenDental or similar dental software

• Stay up to date with pediatric dental innovations and participate in CE courses

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

• Valid state dental license

• Completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency program

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach

• Commitment to creating positive dental experiences for kids
